Improve your coordination, posture and overall grace through the traditional dance form of classical ballet: Each class will include barre exercises, as well as short step combinations, turns, jumps and port de bras (arm movements). Come get your groove on with Danielle as she leads this class through dance moves meant to keep you moving. This class will focus on getting fit through party dances ( from the rock steady to the reject and everything in between) as well as technique such as Locking, Poppin, House and Top Rocking. 12 weeks for $156.

If you have always wanted to try African Dance or have tried it but found it too difficult, then this is the class for you! Bennicent will bring to these classes his vast knowledge of songs and drumming from Mali, Senegal, Guinea and his home country of Ghana.

Asana (posture) practice linking movement to breath and linking postures with a flowing sequence and sun salutations. Each class is an unique combination of poses and themes. This style of teaching helps you move towards perfected alignment and deeper postures.

Ever wonder why we do certain poses, the proper way for you personally to set up some of the challenging postures, or some of the intended benefits that you aren’t aware of? Or, are you getting the feeling you aren’t really learning yoga, you’re finding yourself just trying to follow along & would like to be learning more? While doing our practice there will be ample opportunities to ask questions or to learn more from others’ questions. Even if you just like to try following along, you’ll have a great class!
Heated Vigorous Vinyasa:
Jen teaches this challenging Vinyasa class in a warm studio and encourages students to find their own full expression in each pose. Attention to alignment with modifications for students of varying levels ensures a safe environment. This class has a strong focus on breath work as students flow from one posture to another.
Rise and Shine Vinyasa Flow:
Charge up your day with an energizing Vinyasa Flow! This dynamic yoga class connects movement with breath and leads you through a series of postures that will strengthen and build flexibility, promoting physical stamina and deep inner calm. A challenging class but accessible to all levels. The room is gently heated to 75-80 degrees to help detoxify your body and warm your muscles for deeper stretching.
Heated Vinyasa:
Vinyasa sequencing in a heated studio (around 80 degrees) to help facilitate stretching and sweating.
Community Kripalu:
Ease out of your week and into your weekend! Joseph’s community Kripalu classes on Friday evenings are held in a judgment free studio. The intention set before starting each class, by the instructor, is to allow all students to grow at their own rate, regardless of any obstacle. Classes are open to all levels! Friday evening community Kripalu classes are always $6!
